During Mario’s 26 years serving as a United States Marine, he volunteered and sacrificed many hours demonstrating democratic values, promoting youth development, and helping people emerge from humanitarian crises overseas.
When he transitioned to the private sector, he wanted to continue dedicating his life to make the world a better place for future generations. He originally founded Still Serving, Inc., during August 2018, to connect military veterans to communities through public speaking. But months later, he felt it was more important to inspire today's youth to influence worldwide positive changes and reduce behaviors that are detrimental to the advancement of mankind.
On April 25, 2019, Still Serving, Inc.’s Board of Directors approved the Adopt-A-School program and Mario quickly realized his vision could become a reality if he, with the help of others, focused on youth development in underserved communities.
